You’re a proactive, experienced CNC operator with a knack for problem-solving. Now, you’re looking for an exciting new challenge in a growing company that values their employees on the same high level that they value their customers.
We’re Cassidy Manufacturing, a service-oriented manufacturer, serving customers mainly in the agricultural sector. We’re looking for you, our new Set Up Operator, to help us produce high-quality parts and continue to impress our expanding customer base.
If you are up for a new challenge, and ready to make a difference in a team-oriented, employee-driven environment, then this may be your next role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As our new Set Up Operator, your primary responsibility will be to set up vertical milling and turning centers for production by following customer-supplied blueprints and internally created work travelers.
You’ll be working very closely with our CNC operators, and you’ll use your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to pass off and explain jobs as you finish setting them up.
You love puzzles, and take great satisfaction in troubleshooting programming issues and faults, helping your colleagues maintain the high production standards and quality that Cassidy Manufacturing is known for. You’re able to do basic editing of programs, and can adjust machine settings to detect and resolve potential problems.
You’ll love the variety and added challenge of working on our different machines day-to-day in our clean, bright shop. Instead of working on the same job over and over, you’ll get to work on multiple projects each day. We’re a paperless shop as well, which means you’ll be using computers and tablets to handle data entry related to quality control and set up instructions.
You’ll excel in this position if you are:
- Proactive – you’re always thinking ahead, and trying to seek out the next step, taking initiative to figure out your next job.
- Team-oriented – you enjoy working closely with your colleagues, and love helping your team succeed.
- Detail-oriented – you take pride in your work, and you always make sure to meet your own high standards for quality.
